Tour Overview
Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is located off the coast of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. Gayana Marine Resort’s PADI Certified Dive Centre lets you discover this marvelous underwater world in the waters off Gaya Island, where you are likely to encounter sea turtles, clownfish, coral fish and even whale sharks, to name a few. The island’s privacy also guarantees that guests will have an exclusive and uncluttered diving experience.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Boat ride to Gayana Marine Resort and dive into the underwater world off Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park
- Start the tour with a 15 minutes boat ride to Gayana Marine Resort.
- Upon arrival, participate in a short briefing where dive instructor will assign dive buddy and do buddy check.
- Please show your certificate card and dive log book. You are also required to sign Diving Liability Release and Indemnity Form before gears are issued.
- Depart to the nearby reef for 2 dive sessions with 1 hour interval between dives.
- After the second dive, return to Gayana Marine Resort to have lunch at Macac Restaurant.
- After a hearty lunch, continue with a 30 minutes jetty dive or just snorkel to enjoy the underwater world around the jetty.
- After the dive, hop on a boat ride back to Jesselton Point Jetty.
Important Notes:
- It is recommended that you allow a minimum of 18 hours surface interval before flying after diving.
- You will need to sign the PADI release and liability form before proceeding for your dives.
- Gayana Marine Resort Dive Center reserves the right to change departure time or postpone the dives should weather and sea condition be deemed unsafe for Sea Sports/ Recreation activities.
- Please bring along your Certification Card and Diving Log Book for Instructor/ Divemaster Verification. Minimum certification for Fun Diving: Open Water Diver (eg: PADI / NAUI/ SSI/ etcetera).
- Dive rate remains the same if you have your own dive gears.

Recommendations
Bring extra change clothes, towel, refillable water bottle, sun block lotion, hat/ cap, insect repellent and comfortable shoes/ flip-flops.

- Request for private tour at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making bookings.
- In the event that there is a refund required, the refund will be credited back to you in the same method as your payment. Cancellation less than 24 hours or No Show is subject to 100% cancellation fee.
