Organic farm without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides, Green O’s Farm uses quality compost and organic fertilizer to create a healthy and fertile soil. Instead of using patricides and insecticides, crops are protected in net-covered and rain-sheltered green houses.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Get to try real farm experience in Green O’s Organic Farm

  • Meet and greeted by our tour guide, depart for Kinarut takes about 20 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu city.
  • Tour commences with a brief introduction to Green O’s history and objective by our in-house expert while you enjoy refreshing homemade welcome drinks.
  • After the briefing, our expert will lead you to an educational tour around the farm, where you get to enjoy first-hand experience of day to day life at the farm.
  • Experience feeding the Bare-Neck Chicken and visit the nursery to see the process of sawing, where local technicians saw seeds in mineral rich soil before placing it in enclosed nursery.
  • You will have opportunity to walk with the expert to the nursery to visit the raised plant beds as expert highlights the various greens planted and the challenges they encounter.
  • You will then be able to witness and participate in the process of quail eggs incubations.
  • End of the tour with a hearty lunch of organic goodness from the farm to your table.
