Tour Overview

If you’re new to rafting, an excursion on Sabah’s Kiulu River will serve as a great introduction to the activity. The river, which is between grade 1 and 2 on the International Scale of River Difficulty, is situated in Tamparuli, about an hour’s car ride from Kota Kinabalu. Suitable for children and even the elderly, rafting down Kiulu River is a delightful way to spend the day immersed in nature, away from the bustle of the city.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Raft down scenic Kiulu White Water river

  • Depending on the water level, the rafting outing covers between 7km of 15km of the river, a trip that will take approximately 2 hours.
  • Along the way, you will encounter rolling rapids and beautiful scenery. At the end point, chow down on a delicious lunch.

Important Notes:

  • All participant are required to sign a liability/waiver form before the tour commences.
  • It is MANDATORY for parent(s) or guardian to accompany children below 12 years of age.
  • Children 5 year old and below are strictly NOT permitted to join.
  • The company reserves the right to change venue if condition are beyond our control.
  • It is necessary to provide a list of participant’s name, age, gender and nationality upon reservation for insurance purposes. All information provided by you will be treated private and confidential as strictly as possible by ECHO Adventures.

Terms and Conditions

  • Child rate applies for children below 11 years old.
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking. Reservation should be made at least at 9 pm, one day before the tour date.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours or No Show is subject to 100% cancellation fee.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, making it impossible to conduct the tour, we reserve the right to change to another tour or cancel the tour at our absolute discretion. In such eventuality, no resource or claims shall be made against us.
