Day 1

Visit various landmarks of Kota Kinabalu

  • First stop on this tour is the city mosque, a magnificent structure surrounded by a man-made moat, built to commemorate when Kota Kinabalu attained city status in 2000.
  • Next is a photo opportunity at Menara Tun Mustapha, a cylindrical glass structure that’s one of few such buildings in the world.
  • The tour then takes you to a Chinese Buddhist temple with a huge statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy standing guard.
  • Drop by Sabah State Museum, where you will learn about Sabah’s history and her people.
